Above the street, below the water

Ask (Nicolas Bro) is married to Anne (Sidse Babett Knudsen). They have everything you could want. Good careers, lovely children, an apartment in Christianshavn, and then they have each other. Everything seems to be as it should be for a modern family that has to juggle working hours, looking after children and not least love. But one morning Anne finds out that Ask wants a break. Why? Does he have another? A choice that affects everyone around them. ACROSS THE STREET UNDER THE WATER is a film about today's adult generation. A generation for whom everything is possible and where only the imagination sets limits to what one can wish for. But all choices have consequences...
